How it Works
Step 1

If you're ready to book a shoot, click on the 'Contact Us' button at the bottom of the page. Fill out the details of the form and we'll get back to you.
Step 3
putting some magic IN YOUR MEMORIES
Once the shoot is complete, we go into hibernation and start the editing process. This takes about 2-10 weeks depending on the type of shoot you've booked.
Step 2
let's shoot
Once the deposit is paid, your date is secure. You are halfway there! Now the fun part begins. From here we choose a theme, time and location. We are happy to advise on locations but also welcome your suggestions.
Step 4
delivering your memories
When your content is ready, it will either be delivered physically or via a personalised gallery link, depending on which package you booked.

We have designed our rate cards with packages to meet your needs. Each package includes photos and video. Should you need photo or video only, please reach out to us so we can customise a package just to suit your needs

A few questions we get asked a lot

What is your turn around time?We have a lead time of 10 weeks (maximum) for photographs and video to deliver the final product. We put a lot of love and attention into each detail of your images and video. If you need your content sooner, please feel free to reach out to us.

Do you provide raw images or footage?As creators, we love adding our 9Yards Media style and aesthetic to our projects. A big part of your final product is the magic we create in our editing process. It is just as important as capturing the moment. If there is a specific shot you would love us to include in your final delivery, please feel free to reach out to us.

How many images or videos do we receive?We have customised our packages with the amount of images and videos you will receive. This is the guaranteed content we will capture in your session. Sometimes we get carried away in capturing your moments and will add some extra 9Yards LOVE (read images and videos) to your final delivery if it adds to the story.

How do payments work?To secure your booking date, a 50% non-refundable deposit and signed contract is required. The remaining balance is due 10 days before your session date.

Are you happy to travel to shoot?We would love to capture your special moments, near or far. 9Yards Media are based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. All our packages are inclusive of the first 50km covered by us. Thereafter, R4,50 per km will be charged. Please note that for destinations outside of Cape Town, all travel and accommodation expenses will need to be settled.

How far in advance should I book?9Yards Media take bookings a year in advance. For weddings, we would advise you to reach out to us at least 4-6 months in advance for popular dates to avoid disappoint. For lifestyle sessions, we recommend booking a month in advance.
